Beautiful furnished second floor apt available for rent by the night, week or month in South Portland just over the bridge from downtown Portland. You can walk or ride a bike to shopping, beaches, restaurants, bars, parks.... GREAT location. Large kitchen with washer dryer, bathroom, dining room, living room and bedroom. Antique chic decor with great natural light. Sleeps 1-2 but I can provide you with a twin bed if you need. Dogs are welcome and there is a nice big back yard with lots of furniture and a grill. The green belt walkway is just across the way for running, biking, walking. Linens included. $450/ week, or prorated daily with a 3 day minimum stay. Much less expensive than any hotel and closer to beaches! Plus we give you a parking pass to use at one of the best beaches nearby, which is just a 10 minute drive away.

"The stay at Sophie's apt was really heaven on earth! She was a fantastic host (even that is an understatement) making sure we had everything we needed. On day two of our stay, my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised to find a bag containing a a sticky bun from what we are now convinced is one of the yummiest bakeries in Portland . Her local recommendations, we feel, really gave us a true sense of what Portland, Maine is all about! Sophie's artistic spirit shines through in her decoration of the apartment. It is obvious that she has put a lot of effort and time in making the place a relaxing and unique sanctuary. We love Portland ME! amazing food + Inviting and friendly people + breath taking scenery = one of the best vacations we've had, EVER!
